JANUARY 2026
AAFCO SRIS Introductory Workshop
Jan. 19, 2026 | 1 to 5 p.m. CT
Register today for a free half-day workshop hosted virtually and in-person by AAFCO during their 2026 mid-year meeting.
AAFCO invites participants to join them for a 4-hour session to discuss the new SRIS pathway, explore the partnership between AAFCO and Kansas State University Olathe and dive into the process to bring new feed ingredients to market.
Limited in-person slots are available.
OCTOBER 2025
The SRIS program is now accepting applications for new animal food ingredient definitions and modifications to existing ingredient definitions.

Animal health experts, such as Dan King (AAFCO), Haley Larson, Ph.D. (K-State Olathe) and Garret Ashabranner, Ph.D. (K-State Olathe), speak at K-State Olathe's 2025 Regulatory Affairs Conference.
AUGUST 2025
Haley Larson, Ph.D., and Garret Ashabranner, Ph.D., will speak about SRIS at the AAFCO annual meeting. More details about the process will be announced at that time.
